DIVERSITY WORKS FOR LONDON

The client asked us to look at how to create a marque for an award, the Gold Standard in diversity. The marque was to work as a part of the DWfL brand environment.

The main brand, shown first below, was already designed and in use. We were to create the award brand in a way that would sit well within the brand.

I worked as the creative lead on this project, closely with the account director.

I made the decision to look at a marque that would be developed from the DWfL branding itself. Because the existing brand worked across a diagonal asterisk form, I found we could embed a rosette emblem in the centre.

This turned the brand into an award, and gave space for the year to be displayed clearly in the centre.

The new marque was then featured in an online advertising campaign during 2009-10.
